With the long-term objective of sustained personnel recruitment in mind, our cooperating hospitals offer to assume part of tuition fees for medical students. They contribute loans of 80,000 EUR to the total amount of 115,000 EUR for medical training so that 35,000 remain to be paid by the student.
In return the student undertakes to work at the loan-providing hospital after completing his or her medical education and the practical year; this includes the option of 5-year advanced training as a medical specialist. After completed and successful specialization, the loan does not have to be repaid. In case of premature termination of employment, the student will have to repay a proportionate share of the loan. Our cooperating hospitals offer approximately 30 of these loans to each class of medical students.
