Rüdersdorf: Winter School for MHB students
Rüdersdorf, 13 February 2020
Between 10 and 12 February 2020, the Immanuel Klinik Rüdersdorf again hosted the Winter School for about 40 8-semester students of the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB).
“We are pleased to organise the MHB Winter School for the second time,” so Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Martin Heinze who heads the university clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy at the institution in Rüdersdorf. He welcomed the participants on 10 February, accompanied by Andreas Böhm from the Brandenburg Health Ministry and MHB Professor Dr. phil. Christine Holmberg (social medicine and epidemiology).
Simone Dors, programme coordinator at the MHB, had prepared a wide-ranging event schedule on “Global Health” in collaboration with Carolin Helm, coordinator for MHB students at the Rüdersdorf clinic. The aim was to create an awareness of health-related problems world-wide. An introduction was followed by seminars on pertinent literature, role plays and mindfulness exercises. Participants were also invited to a theme-based movie night. Accommodation was provided at the clinic facilities in Buckow.
