Open Day at the MHB in Neuruppin: Stop by, have a look!

All interested individuals are cordially invited to visit the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB) in Neuruppin on Saturday, 24 May 2025. Building D on the premises of the university hospital Ruppin-Brandenburg will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The university offers information about the institution and its programs in medicine, dental medicine and psychotherapy.

Founded in 2014 to lastingly strengthen healthcare in Brandenburg, the MHB stands for innovative approaches in academic training. The Open Day offers prospective students and their families ample opportunity to discover the university and learn more about its range of courses: The course guidance service has details of all available disciplines, campus tours convey an idea of the lively atmosphere, and sample lectures give a foretaste of teaching events. Exclusive guided tours through the Institute of Anatomy, the library and the lab complement the day’s program. One of the highlights is the SimLab, where modern methods of training in medicine are presented.  Students will be available for discussion groups to report from their day-to-day experience. The “Clinic Talk” offers insights into the practice of psychology and psychotherapy studies. Visitors may attend mini lectures, or experience physical ageing in a simulation format. They can also obtain information on how to finance studies at the MHB.  

The Open Day is an ideal chance to learn about the MHB and its practice-based and patient-oriented training concepts, and to get a personal impression of what Neuruppin has to offer.
