MHB opens virtual doors

As in summer, the MHB will again open its virtual doors to prospective students of medicine and psychotherapy on Saturday, 12 December 2020 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. A mix of presentations from teachers and students will provide an authentic and personal impression of the MHB, its innovative degree programmes and practice-oriented formats of teaching and learning, although from a distance. Videos and interactive live events will be on offer, and chatrooms will be organised where questions will be answered in detail.

Dr. Eric Alexander Hoffmann is head of communications at the MHB and organiser of the event together with a student team. He underlines the advantages of the format: “Interested individuals get an impression of the MHB despite Corona, without obligation to wear masks, without danger of infection, without time and cost consuming trips to Neuruppin. They can learn all about student life and accommodation on site, our individual selection procedures, available grants and ways to finance their studies. Potential students and their parents will find it easy to get valuable information and practical suggestions, to meet MHB representatives online, attend live events and ask questions.”

To attend the virtual Open Day, interested individuals only need a PC/laptop or smartphone/iPad with internet access, camera, loudspeaker and microphone. The free Webex app needs to be installed on the respective device. The MHB once again offers a preliminary trial date so that prospective participants can become familiar with the technical details.

After registration, participants will receive their access data by e-mail in the week of the event.
