MHB joins German Network Health Services Research (DNVF)
Neuruppin/Berlin, 16 May 2017
Quality improvement in tomorrow’s health care was in the focus of the 5th DNVF Forum in Berlin on 10 May 2017. Leading quality and patient safety researchers discussed latest approaches to and concepts of quality oriented health services control in the health care sector. The network accepted the Brandenburg Medical School (MHB) as a new member at its general meeting prior to the Forum.
DNVF president Prof. Dr. Edmund Neugebauer is also the dean of the Brandenburg Medical School. He welcomes the membership as confirmation of the joint focus in both organizations, i.e. the perspective of patients and recipients of health services under conditions of day-to-day practice.
The German Network Health Services Research is an interdisciplinary network and open to all institutions and teams who aim to secure health care provision from a variety of scientific, practical or political points of view. The DNVF has set itself the goal of bringing scientists together who are involved in health services research, integrating theory and practice of health care, and promoting health services research in general.
The Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB) is a state-recognized non-profit university under municipal sponsorship. It stands for innovative teaching concepts and an integrated approach to research, student education and patient care. A main focus at the MHB is on medicine and psychology of ageing, with a particular interest in health services research.
