The project krankheitserfahrungen.de is based at the MHB Institute of Social Medicine and Epidemiology. The website offers a science-based, low-threshold format of information and support around a number of diseases. It targets affected patients and their families as well as medical professionals like physicians, nursing staff and psychologists.

Experiences and first-hand practical tips

The website focus is on experiences of individuals who report from their day-to-day life with their disease and have valuable tips how to cope with the challenges involved. These personal reports offer orientation and support to affected patients and their families and may help them to understand their particular situation.
