Jena/Brandenburg an der Havel, 01.11.2018

At their winter meeting in Jena from 27 to 29 October, the federal representatives of German medical students (bvmd) confirmed MHB by a large majority as the organizers of the second summer meeting 2018. Our student representatives will welcome up to 200 medical students from all over Germany in Brandenburg an der Havel from 29 June to 1 July 2018.

A delegation of the MHB medical student initiative (MedSI) with three students from Neuruppin and two from Brandenburg an der Havel used the Jena meeting to present themselves as next year’s orga team and were actively involved in nine different work groups and areas, in numerous projects as well as national and international exchange. Bertram Otto, in charge of the initiative in Brandenburg, welcomed this opportunity to present MHB with its excellent study conditions to fellow students elsewhere in Germany. The orga team has already started planning the summer meeting.

Dean Prof. Dr. Edmund Neugebauer was pleased to note the MHB students’ dedication and described the initiative as an important contribution to improve MHB’s visibility and acceptance among German medical schools.

Outside the scheduled plenary sessions and workshops, student representatives from 38 medical schools in Germany will also have the opportunity to get an impression of Brandenburg an der Havel. Bertram Otto announces attractive side events. Local and regional cooperation partners of MHB are invited to present themselves during the meeting and are welcome to sponsor the event.
